Ahmadinejad said an interview had no effect on the economy of United Nations sanctions against Iraq

 According to Iranian media, the evening of February 15 President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad told Iranian television broadcast interview that the United Nations sanctions against Iran does not have an impact on the country's economy.

Ahmadinejad said Iran's economy is thriving. He said among the economies of modern society, competition is fierce, such sanctions are meaningless. Ahmadinejad acknowledged that some areas of sanctions against Iran after the emergence of short-term price increases, but he insisted that the future prices will fall. Ahmadinejad also pointed out that economic sanctions may end up benefiting Iran, because Iran has already begun in many areas to achieve self-sufficiency.

Ahmadinejad spoke in the interview, the Iranian nuclear negotiations, that the negotiations will not be short-term results. Ahmadinejad also called for more dialogue with the international community.

United Nations Security Council June 9, 2010 on the Iranian nuclear issue through resolution No. 1929, decided against Iran since 2006 to implement the fourth round of sanctions.
