Adam named his wife Eve, because she would become the mother of all living. v.21 The Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothe them. And the Lord God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing goodand evil.He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.” v.23 So the Lord God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken. After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life.
The Temptation of Jesus Matthew Chapter 4:1 – 11 Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert (an isolated or solitary place) to be tempted by the devil. After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry (famished, physically and potentially mentally vulnerable, weak or humbled). v.3The tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.” Jesus answered, “It is written:Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’“
